Being this is a first impression, I wish to lead with honesty. I am not looking for a "fling". I am more interested in finding that one special soul mate. I am happy in my career as a School Counselor working with at risk teens and very content in life, but finding that special lady in my life has been a challenge. Although I wish to take things at a slow pace, I would like to eventually settle down with one good woman. Is that you?

I am curious to find out what happened to a time when people used to build a strong foundation in relationships. I stand on loyalty, trust and open communication. It seems people aren't patient enough to foster good bonds anymore. I am willing to take it slow and build a friendship first. Can you relate?

OK, enough with the "personal" things. Let's talk fun! I love to get out of the house. Once out, anything goes. I am pretty spontaneous, so "fun" can be as simple as good company at dinner or a picnic all the way to a concert or traveling (both domestic and international). Living in NY is great because there are so many cultural choices. There are a lot of museums with different themes as well as street fairs and outdoor events. Let's not forget the water. Taking a cruise to nowhere is also fun. I wouldn't mind doing a "tourist day". I have lived in NY all my life and never been to the Statue of Liberty of Empire State Building. Let's go!

My mate should be attentive, caring and loyal. I am ultimately seeking a relationship of peace, so clear communication must override arguing and conflict.
