Seek someone who's educated,can talk about anything from the serious to the absolutely non-important silly subjects. Can make me laugh because I'm always pretty happy and smiling so someone with a positive outlook on life is a must. Open minded, down to earth with a heart full of warmth and compassion for other people. Someone who is NOT married/separated.I do work out, but not fanatical about it so I'd want someone who isn't a couch potato and is always active or at least tries to be. Someone who's into adventure and never afraid to try anything once. Takes pleasure in learning new things.
As for me when I am not talking to students at various high schools or the driving school in Valparaiso regarding my accident years ago when a drunk driver forever changed my life in so many ways I do work a pretty crazy schedule & things can change often & I'd want someone that can understand that. Luckily my schedule does allow some flexibility to where I can continue to be a season ticket holder for the Chicago Wolves hockey team or make time for the special person in my life. I'm not one of those clingy, insecure types so for me I don't need to see you every day or talk to you excessively. A quick call or text to say "hi" and that we are thinking of each other while we are apart is great as long as it isn't to the point where there isn't trust between each other. So if this means you are a control freak and would check up on me excessively while we are apart that could pose a problem.I am VERY faithful to the person I am in a relationship with so there would be no need to worry that I'd cheat, lie or in any way treat you any less differently than I'd expect for myself. I believe in open communication by both parties. I have to play "20 questions" at time within the scope of my job duties in order to gather information. However, I don't feel it should be that difficult to communicate with someone I am in a relationship with.I enjoy the simple things but also have an appreciation for some of the finer things as well. My favorite bands are Stone Sour, Disturbed, Three Doors Down & Pop Evil. I also really enjoy winding down to Mozart or Beethoven. I like attending the local comedy club, pretty much anything outdoors in the summer. I am a huge animal lover.
