i'm a girly girl and always keep my hair and nails done. while i could get away with not wearing makeup, i do like to emphasize my eyes with some liner and mascara, nothing crazy though. i like to keep my body hair free, fit and good-smelling.
i look great in a sexy business suit, but can also rock a sweater or t-shirt and a pair of jeans with boots. i'm a long island girl who has found she loves brooklyn! fuggedabout it! lol
i love to read and some of my favorite authors are J. California Cooper, Toni Morrison, Anne Rice, Zora Neale Hurston, Tolstoy, James Baldwin, John Milton and lots more...i couldn't imagine living without my book collection (mostly hard covers)
a perfect day would find me with a date, friends (or alone!) wandering around the Strand, MoMA, the Met or any of the myriad art galleries in DUMBO area of Brooklyn all day and grabbing some good indian, cuban, sushi or thai food along the way.
i love to salsa dance and know a good place for it any night of the week! i also love a good Mojito or Caprinha and know where they make them really yummy
i spend about 4 to 8 weeks in Los Angeles every year since half my family and friends are there! will actually be on the rooftop of one of the coolest hotels in LA to bring in NYE 2011...you should come!
with much procrastination and more than a little fear of falling, i'm developing my business plan and hope to launch my own themed lingerie shop in my favorite borough, Brooklyn, sometime next year. i'll donate a percentage of the profits to earth sustainability projects and women's causes around the globe. i need to make a difference in this world...
