A little about myself…
Still fairly new to Denver so just trying to meet people & maybe find that special someone.
I am a very hard working and dedicated person. I try to live life to its fullest. Although my pics don’t show it, I laugh often, smile constantly, and I’m very optimistic about how this will work for me. I’m told my smile is contagious :)
I have one child, 12 years old, that I simply love & my relationship with her is very important. You will probably never meet her unless we either become best friends or develop a wonderfully amazing relationship.. She is soooo smart that we are able to have quite a few intellectual conversations… (Or does that mean I have the intellect of a 12 year old? Hmmmmm….) But she’s fantastic and plays sports… (And skateboards...)
I am a full-time student that has decided to stop wasting time and get my nursing degree. I guess I’m finally up for the challenge :)
I also work full-time (obviously in the healthcare field) in a hospital here in Denver. The specialty I do, I have been doing for 12 years and I love it. I do however work graveyard shifts so that makes my free-time and schedule a little weird.
In my free time I spend lots of time with my daughter, my nephew, and my grandparents. I try to exercise almost daily, ride my bike, skateboard (yes…I do it too!), and in the summer I love to swim and hit up amusement and waterparks. I would love to learn to snowboard in the winter. I always try to keep busy doing something. I’m not a bad cook either. But there are days when I want to just relax with a good book or a movie.
I would love to travel (Rome being my 1st favorite choice to go to) but have not had the opportunity to do so like I would like. Although through military, I have lived in several places in the US.
I am incredibly honest and trustworthy. I would expect my match to have the same qualities. That is extremely important.
I have a great, maybe sarcastic or dark, sense of humor (some would say disturbing). My humor is along the lines of Family Guy, Criminal Minds…..
Taking me to my favorite movies, TV, music….. blah blah blah:
Movies: wayyyyy too many to name so I’ll go by genre. Horror, Sci-Fi, Action, Comedy, and Romance (in that order)
TV: Criminal Minds, Family Guy, …ehh pretty much anything on A&E or ION.
Music: R & B, Hip-Hop, Rap, old school R & B… (Tupac, Em, T.I., Nicki Minaj, Cube, Snoop, Toni Braxton, En Vogue, BabyFace, Sublime, Tech N9ne, Eminem, Marshall Mathers, Slim Shady…. lol)
I should let you know that I'm very much into interracial relationships. It's just what I prefer.
