Hello and thanks a Zillion for stopping by my profile!!
First off, I’m a Catholic woman; I come from a home of devout Catholics. Been Catholic all my life. I’ve got a B.A Honours in English and currently, I’m pursuing my dreams as I’m enrolled for a post-graduate diploma in Mass Communication (Journalism and writing in general is my number 1 passion) I’m a singer, songwriter, author and missionary. Above all, I’m a worshipper who’s passionate about bringing GOD’s Kingdom truth to mankind. I’ve released an album, 7 singles and 2 books. My sixth single “Waiting” is written to my future husband (I hope to find him here). I’ve been chaste since the day I was born; I made the decision very early to remain a virgin until marriage. And though I’ve experienced countless trials and persecutions over this but I’m holding on tight and STILL believing that there are men out there who value virginity, purity and chastity before marriage. I’d love to play “Waiting” to my future-husband when I eventually find him and he could then listen for himself and get a picture of what my life was like at that phase.
Recently, I made a move to relocate to the USA by contacting the US Embassy here and finding out info on how to go about getting a VISA. The process isn’t easy. My decision comes because I feel limited in my own country. There’s a lot I’ve got to offer suffering humanity; I need to break away and extend the message of love to those who haven’t heard it. There are many potentials in the USA. It’s also an advanced country so it’d aid my work as a missionary, etc and make it much easier.
My family is traditional. This means a man’s required to fulfil cultural obligations that my culture demands; example, a man has to come make his intentions known officially and get the woman’s parents’ blessings after they’ve dated for a while. Dowry is also paid if the two love-birds eventually become engaged. Only after marriage is a woman allowed to live with a man. In all, it takes a short time and isn’t a herculian task, depends on the seriousness of the man.
All I'm here for is to find the man of my dreams, to live with him - husband and wife, have a beautiful, happy family in the future, grow old together and leave a legacy for our children.I believe a relationship should be 1 man - 1 wife so I'd be very faithful to whomever I get married to. I'm romantic (Scented candles, coloured dim lights, soft music playing in the background, massage oils, you know, that sorta thing ; ) ) I am going to pamper the man I marry and treat him the way a man deserves to be treated. He'll have my time, my love, my prayers, my support, everything! I am also funny/humorous, I look on the bright side of life despite the many hardships that daily surround us. I’ve endured a lot of pain from other dating websites and virtually all the men I met there duped and deceived me and played with my emotions. I won’t go into details here but what I’ve endured in the past at the hands of men is very shocking. At some point, I begun to wonder what I was doing wrong and decided to look for reviews for a particular website I was on. After reading the negative reviews, it dawned on me that I was in the wrong place (Free dating websites have got their risks, risks of meeting 99% of scams and frauds)
I've got a lot of compassion for broken-hearted people and would do anything to put a smile on a sad face or warm a broken heart. It's what I love to do 'cause I myself have been broken, time and time again. But I don't sit and whine, I'd rather be positive about it! I'm passionate about God, He comes first in my life, I love to write as writing is my first passion. Singing comes next. I also love to hang out with friends when less busy, I'm a great lover of animals and would love to own a lot of them when I am properly settled in the near-future, sort of a mini-zoo ; ) I'm Intelligent, out-going even though I see myself as an introvert, I love to laugh and make the most of little moments with loved ones, I poke fun at friends/family a lot. I'm a lively person, totally faithful to loved ones and always, always willing to help a broken soul whenever i can. Kind words can go a long way as what we give comes back to us, as one quote goes "Humanity's a circle in need"
All I ask of my future husband is simple! I don't need you to fly me to the Moon or buy me a Spaceship :) No! All I want is your LOVE, TIME AND FIDELITY! I've got my heart broken before and the feeling wasn't funny at all. I need a real, genuine man who will COMPLETE and COMPLEMENT me in every area of my life. Someone whose heart is filled with compassion for suffering humanity! A man with a great attitude and who's willing to be himself around me, I seriously don't like pretences, lies and fakes.
A man who's not too sensitive but sensitive enough to know when he's hurt my feelings and when I'm feeling blue. A man who understands jokes, who's supportive, very generous, who'd laugh with me and confide in me, a man who'd trust me and love me for who I am. A man who isn't ill-tempered or judgmental.
I'm seeking a man who's ready to have a relationship, over-look boundaries and barriers and who's ready to settle down. Love could come from anywhere no matter the distance, so distance is not a problem for me and shouldn't be for him; if two people get to really know each other and think they have a future together, they both can make arrangements to meet in person, so, distance shouldn't be an excuse. I've heard men say "Where you not several miles away, I'd have married you", No! If you truly love someone, you wouldn't't mind flying all the way to meet them.
My ideal man also must be protective, caring, very romantic, FAITHFUL and ready to have a family. Yes! He's got to be monogamous. Religious (God has to come first in his life), generous, compassionate and loving. Someone creative and fun to be with, a man who'd go all out to plan something special for my birthday, anniversary, etc
