I guess the main thing that I'm looking for is a man to share my interests and who would be interested in doing things together as a couple, and not constantly put me off because he feels that he has better things to do, or that he is too busy for me. (I was in a relationship like that and it was very hard).

I'm not the type of person who sits around waiting a man I have too many friends that I can do things with or I will do things on my own (being an only child I'm use to doing things on my own).

My main purpose for being on here is to find a partner to share my life with and to support each other in our individual goals and have lots of fun.

I have several hobbies right now I'm learning how to knit and it's coming along quite well. I enjoy learning about different cultures and experiencing different foods. I like to hike, camp, go to the beach, go the movies, go to the opera, ballet, and plays go on walks, see nature. As far as music I listen to opera, classical, easy listening/pop and some alternative and celtic. I'm open to most movies as long they aren't scary or stupid. I also like car shows and learning about cars. (thanks to my last guy who is a car guy). I also love cooking and experimenting with different spices. Over the past several years I have been working on being all natural meaning I'm no longer eating foods that are process and have additives, although I'm a bbw I'm very healthy. I have started a garden and I'm looking forward to reaping my rewards. I use to belly dance and have been thinking about getting back into, I also enjoy acting and singing. I have done some extra work for movies. My favorite foods are Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and Southern. I speak a little Russian (not as much as I should after two years of study)LOL I also enjoy reading and doing crafts, I like photography and developing my own pictures I would like to have a darkroom. I know it's the digital age but I still love to watch a photo come to life before my eyes.


I also volunteer from time to time, I'm a mentor with The Big Brothers Big Sister program have been for about seven years now. I also teach Sunday School at my church, which I attend on a regular basis. My faith is very important to me so the man that shares my life would have to be open to that as well.

I'm currently in the process of building a business and getting it off the ground. I'm not looking for a man to take care of me I can do that myself..I'm looking for a man to share my life with...I'm not looking for a man who wants to be taken care of I'm not your mother so I wouldn't be the one for you.

Other than building a business my other goal is to purchase my first home and have be as eco-friendly as possible to cut the cost that I would have to pay to the utility company's.

My idea partner would have a job (it doesn't matter to me what you do as long as you are happy doing it and it is legal), have a sense of humor, I like men that are tall at least 6 ft. Although I'm partial to men with dark hair and blue eyes I'm not opposed if you don't have blue eyes it will be ok I guess LOL and you don't have to have dark hair. It would great if you have interracial dating experience, but if you haven't and are open to it that would be fine as well. He must be honest and faithful and be able to communicate. If things aren't working just tell me I'm a big girl I can handle it. If there is something missing that you need and are not getting tell me. Don't just start seeing other people behind my back. I would rather you be honest with me yes my feelings will be hurt but I will get over it. You can not be jealous because I have lots of friends male and female that I hang out with and do things with. That isn't going to change once I get into a relationship. You must be a NON-SMOKER I'm allergic.
