I've been a middle and oldest child. I'm very serious about my play. My athletic friends are surprised by my nerdiness. My intelligent friends are surprised by my caring. My coworkers laugh when they learn that I dance. My dancing friends forget I love school. The only people who call me by my first name are family.
I've traveled a lot in the last 10 years. I've lived in Connecticut, Indiana, Minnesota, New York and Kentucky. I'm not set on settling yet but can see it happening in the near future. Every couple of months I'll take a road trip several states away just because I can. I love what different cultures exist so close to each other.
I've been schooled at home, in public and in the liberal arts.
I overuse commas.
I'm working at a residential center for teen girls. It's putting every ounce of my patience to work, but I do get the best stories... While working I'm equal parts: teacher, coach, lawyer, friend, jailer, comedian, secretary and MMA chick.
I love reading Kurt Vonnegut and Walter Moseley.

My DVD collection has two categories: "good" and "fun to watch" (a movie could be both, but there are lots of terrible movies that are fun to watch...) The best have these three things in common: guns, cars and explosions...
My taste in music tends to change with time and my mood, but I tend to gravitate towards amazing musicians no one has ever heard of, like David Sides. Others would be: Journey, Lupe Fiasco, Paul Van Dyke, REM, TI, BTO, Blackstar, Counting Crows, Kanye, and Big Band Jazz
I'm also a huge fan of Eddie Izzard.
