Description:
You might have read my profile that is posted here in Interracial Oasis, yet, there are things that I am eager to share with you that can lucidly give you an idea of who I am.
I am a spiritual person who believes in the existence of God. But I have high respect to people who are not believers in God but have always been spiritual. What is important is that we both share the vision of world peace and the respect to all the people.
In my 29 years of existence in this intricate world, there are many things that I have learned which form part of the parcels of my characters and personality. I have learned how to live life to the fullest because life is indeed worth living. Why do I live my life to the fullest has something to do with the preponderant values I acquired from my family, my peer, the church, the school and the community.
From my family, I learned the values of cooperation, honesty, patience, faith, care, goodness, understanding, humility and love. The apothegm is veritable when it succinctly said that the “Family is the basic unit of the society.”. We are not rich materially but I am always proud to say that my parents are morally opulent. They have become instrumental to the make up of my characters. One of the striking things that I’ve learned from my family is how we stick together through ups and downs. When the time for me to move into the real world outside the peripheries of my home, I began assimilating with my peers who added to my life’s hues.
With them, I have evolved into a better person because what I had learned from my parents is heralded into greater summit. How would I forget the naughty things I learned from my peers but do not necessarily tarnish the confidence, honesty and kindness that I have. I began learning from them that friendship should be sincere, and true without any abnegation to hypocrisy and rudeness. I have good friends who are with me through life’s ups and downs and I truly appreciate it when they stick to me. Wow!. I am so lucky to have them.
During weekends, I have become familiar with what the church says about theKingdom of GOD . It is a realm of faith. I have become a pious member of our church. I was before and as of now, I am still. Growing up is like growing in the meadow of perplexities but I managed to surmount these because I have my faith in GOD. The church strengthens my faith and it enables me to appreciate life more. And I love my faith and I am a practicing Christian.
Before I began my primary education, I was equipped with the basic Rs (reading, writing and arithmetic) but it is on embarking on this stage of education that I had polished more of my knowledge. I would not be reaching this stage of my tertiary education had I not learned the values of patience, hardwork, teamwork and excellence. It is here where I began showing my talents and skills in extra curricular activities and I like how things are going on with my studies because all my best efforts are reaping satisfactory remarks. I have become very studious in my studies because I want to reach my goals in life.
All of these values ramified towards the community where I belong. There is no perfect world and a perfect thing. Nonetheless, my community is instrumental in pulling to my senses the values of cooperation, and unity in me. As a good citizen of my community, I am very cooperative in its laws, ordinances, policies, and regulations.
My view on love is like the view of the love that my parents have to each other. They love each other so much that each one of them is very caring, understanding, loyal, supportive and affectionate. Through the years, they have loved each other so much and I want to have a loving relationship just like this. My father is older than my mother by 10 years but I can see the unconditional love that my mother has to my father. The issue of age is trivial and what is important is the genuine love that is within the heart.
I must admit that love for me is not at an instant because there is a demarcation between love and admiration because physical attractions are only supplementary to a person's good characters.
Since I value characters, I prefer a guy who is responsible, matured, caring, honest and loving. There are many men out there who claim to have possessed these traits but I can read between lines those who are sincere from those who are not and who only want to play love games. Experience is a tough teacher. It gives the test first and the lesson afterwards. I am not cynical when it comes to the affair of my heart. I just want to state a fact that there are men who only orchestrate ruse to impress the lady that they are befriending or wooing at her own detriment; but it does not put me off from knowing that among the stale fishes in the ocean of love, there are true and sincere men who woo their soulmate with good intentions of loving, and caring a lady. I am pacifying my skepticism on my earlier tenet on this rational thinking.
