My heavenly Father is the love of my life. Each day I ask him to make me a blessing to someone else.

I do not dwell on the negative or the past, am always moving forward and upward. I am not a drama queen. I am a professional that takes her job, family, life and friends seriously. I respect others and treat them accordingly. I am kind and sweet. Love to laugh. Even at 52, I still blush and at times I can be shy. I am a good listener and am sincere. Have a great sense of humour and I LOVE TO LAUGH!!!!! I have a great sense of play and the inner child has to come out, however, I do know when it's time to be serious.

I have many interests – I love to read (T.D. Jakes is my favorite author). I love gospel music (favorite artist is Yolanda Adams). I write poetry and currently seeking to have some of my works published.

I love movies (especially the old ones on TCM) and I also like going to movies. I love picnics in the park, or just getting out to enjoy and appreciate this lovely earth.

I want the kind of relationship where it's truly a pleasure to just "hang out" with my special partner. I want to hold hands wherever we are. I want to lay in bed at night, snuggling and sharing our deepest secrets with each other. I want to stand in a crowd and look at him across the room and be proud to say, "that's the love of my life right there", and feel quite certain that he's feeling the same way! I want to make eye contact with him across the room, and see him smile and know that we've just said a thousand words without having said one out loud. I want to meet my best friend and fall in love with him. I want to wake up with my best friend next to me for the rest of my life. I'm very comfortable with myself and enormously happy with my life and accomplishments, but would love to share that happiness with the man God has for me. I'm not in search of a "warm body" to just have around and I'd rather be alone for the right reasons than to be with someone for the wrong reasons. I'm certain he will NOT be perfect but equally certain he will be perfect for me. I don't want someone I can live with rather I want someone I just can't live without. I spent the first half of my life making the mistakes required to achieve the wisdom I now enjoy and now I want to reap the benefits of those lessons and spend the second half of my life just being down right happy.
