I am a 28 yr old Cape Verdean mother of one beautiful 3 yr old girl. I enjoy reading and writing poetry. I have a great admiration for the arts and am constantly being influenced by them. I currently have 4 tattoos, working on my 5th, its offical, I'm addicted to 'em! I LOVE football! EAGLES all day baby!! I am currently in college majoring in journalism. I love all types of music from Jill Scott to Rascal Flatts to T.I. to Cascada to John Coltrane. My daughter is my world and I try to live right by her every day.

I've been told that I am a great communicator, which I take pride in because I belive that communication is essential in any relationship be it with your partner, family, friends, and co-workers. I've been told also that I an fiercely loyal to a fault. Blame it on my daddy, I got that from him. Currently I work full time and going to school full time, and don't forget I'm a sigle mom so busy doesn't begin to describe my life. I am interested in making a new friend and if it develops into something more, I will not hinder its growth.

I am extremly focused at this point in my life, and I would be lying if I said I didn't want a companion along for the ride, but I believe that it is very beneficial to everyone involved when everyone is on the same level. If I do meet someone I would like for him to be just as, if not more, focused as me. I am a very low maintenance, independent woman and drama free, please be too.
